Palak Gajrawala : A Desire to capture this boundless world - its beauty and paradox - is what drives Palak’s Work. The ability of a photograph to steal a particular moment from Reality and bring it on print is what attracts her to photography. Her work is a mix of images from life to non-life, events to people and from festivals to those every day nothings. In this series she captures the spirit of ahmedabad. The city's history is filled with stories of extraordinary resilience and has been a melting pot of cultures since last 10 millenia which is the reason behind the co-existence of such myriad forms of expressions. From sharing a chai (tea) to icecream parties, fancy music do’s to religious commemorations, traditional dance festivals to charity walks… there’s so many ways in which the city celebrates.
