Starting something new is always daunting. .
by the time you have it all figured, something changes and you’re back to the beginning.
I’ve been waiting to actually do something first and then write about it.
When i get something done it leaves little energy to do any writing :)
Its been a few months of building, renovating, sorting through stuff and less of making art. I’m getting there though, meanwhile all the artists at the residency have kept the spirits up. Being in the heart of work happening is interesting. I ve seen some great work. !!!

The Sanskrit word ‘tvak’ literally means the the skin / bark
Sense of touch, / Cinnamon.
Tvak : For me this is personal , to me art itself is the sense of touch, the feel of clay on my hands. this is what got me hooked to art as a child and the interest has lasted all this while. Tvak is sanskrit for cinnamon, very indian !

The Residency Program:
A home away from home while exploring the art and culture of Ahmedabad,
the program aims to provide a space to work and explore one's creative potential and interact with other Artists. An Exhibition of work created is held at the end of Term.
Applications are accepted all year round & Studios are reserved for foreign Artists.
